For those who prefer the lay-in method of prefold use but find the prefolds too long for the cover, I offer prefold trimming.
The prefolds are trimmed to the length of your specification, the extra sewed back on down the middle or kept off and can be used in other diapers. Depending on the length being trimmed, sometimes an inch just looks silly sewn back on. We will happily work with you to on your preferences and dimensions preferred. It makes for a trim and easy diaper change, just trifold the diaper, place in a wrap style cover such as the Bummis and fasten. All the trimmed edges are serged for durability. You can select the serging thread color from our available selection.
This is a custom service and not refundable except in the case of product defect. PLEASE be sure of your measurements. We can help you determine the pre-wash length desired to get the post-wash length desired. The most common length desired is 15 inches. The pre-wash length for this length is 17 inches. We added the Capri diaper in bleached and unbleached to have this size available instock without the trimming time.
When trimming, remnants less than 2-2.5 inches, they are discarded unless instructed otherwise. Remnants 3 inches or wider can be sewn into doublers at no additional cost.
Expected turn-around time is 7-10 days.
